misheard song lyrics

Old Town Road:
"I'm gonna take my horse to the old town road, I'm gonna ride 'till I can't no more."

Letter to the Past

Dear Sean,

In order to be successful in a digital art class, you must know how to use Photoshop. Photoshop is the platform in which most of the projects are created. Knowing how to use it is very important for succeeding in this class. Being able to be creative and use creativity when working on a project is also necessary for this class. Time management is also a key component of succeeding in digital art. One of my successful projects was my gif. I was able to make it better than I had originally made it because I added more to it, while making it look better. It is the project that I am proudest of so far and I enjoyed that one. If done differently, I would've added more movement in the gif. I fulfilled the requirements because I was able to create a gif using photoshop.

the importance of art

"Tax dollars should not be waster on art, music, or theater classes in high school. Public high schools should be about training young people to enter the workforce. Period."

I think that this quote means that the school funding should be more towards the regular core classes, than it should be for arts. I don't really agree with this because art classes are necessary in schools because it promotes creativity, and provides a break for students from their difficult classes. The only way to give these classes to students is to pay for them. Without providing money to these classes, they will not be able to function.

However, I agree that public high schools should be about training young people for the workforce because that promotes working and helping the economy. High schools do not have many classes about training people for the workforce. Classes such as history and chemistry provide no benefit towards the workforce and should have less funding. Art classes do train people for certain careers involving art and performing.

what art? part 1

1. The mood of these images is serious. The expression on the models is serious and no emotion. The first picture has good posture, while the second one doesn't have good posture.
2. They look like they were created using paint and a canvas, but they were probably made using photoshop.
3. The red color makes the image brighter so it doesn't seem sad. It accentuates the mood as well.
4. I think that the artist intended to convey the women as serious and not happy. I think the effort was successful.

unity

I incorporated unity into my design of the visual performing arts logo because it is all very consistent. The green background is all one shade. The black symbols represent different branches of visual performing arts, which are orchestra, band, drama, chorus, fine arts, etc. The logo is unifying the different branches into one event.
